About Me:
Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship and will build a place of trust and connection where we can identify your goals and work toward healing for you and your relationships. I enjoy working with people of various ages and backgrounds and strive to be a compassionate and supportive presence for you.
I knew from a young age that connecting with and serving others was a core purpose in my life. In college, I spent a summer as an intern in an underserved community with children and their families. I decided that summer that I wanted to find a way to support people in a deeper way with healing from pain and trauma, finding resources, and learning self advocacy skills. This led me to obtain my MSW degree and become a therapist.
I now bring a decade of experiences working with children, teens, adults, parents, and families to my practice. I have interned and worked in school, agency, community, and medical settings and obtained skills to provide effective therapy. I strive to be a lifelong learner and continue to attend trainings that will allow me to strengthen my skills to better serve you.
When I am not working, I am likely spending time with my husband of 10 years and my two young children.
My own life experiences alongside my training have given me unique insight to offer support to first responders, couples, and parents with special needs children. I have also been fortunate to have my own wonderful therapist be a part of my own healing and I truly believe in the value of this journey.
